Mines has a new genuine radiator, rad cap and stat, my mechanic checked flow and thats fine. Its been flushed more times both ways than a public loo both matrix have been flushed on their own. In the end I took it to local dealer when we were working on their AC in their offices. They checked everything and all to spec. A lady in the service dept looked into it and I got told that its a know fault for slow warm up on some models. The temp gauge gets to correct position but this does not equate to heat output whatsoever. Was going to look at climate control today as should be able to use that as should be quicker to heat but its been pouring down so no chance but even that seems to be useless in heating. Its a great tow car for our caravan but some bits nowhere as good as my old mk2. Tempted to bypass the rear heater and see if that improves warm up time, i get even heat just not much of it. Tempted to get a block heater, on the bay I've even seen a webasto unit that must be a cold climate add on. Its puzzling to say the least, there seems to be ecu's for everything these days. Will update when I've had chance to get some gauges on the ac and see what the pressures are doing.
