Poor idle part 2 hi since my last post  re bad engine idle egrv problems bit miffed no replies !! I have since changed the egrv removed blank plate , cleaned maf sensor , recharged battery started vehicle engine was still stalling after start up after around 6 attempts and keeping foot on about 1500rpm engine fault light has reset  and once warm the vehicle covered 30 miles faultless driving improving all the time i opened air conditioning on to full cold setting for 15 mins . It seems like loss of battery power had affected  idle memory ? Is this a common problem has anyone else experienced the same issues will try again from cold start today see what happens !!

Bit difficult to advise best course of action when you dont list the engine type but from your symptoms ill take a guess its an electronically pumped (1996 on Pajero) 2.8??
