Hey Guys,

I'm having a problem with my EML as usual on my 4D56 engine in my Shogun Sport. Must be an overboost issue as after EML comes on there's no turbo and is extremely slow.

I've been reading a lot, no-one has a clear answer for anything however. I've had a look at the few vacuum pipes I can see around the area which seems to be okay. Next I thought it may be a good idea to check the solenoid. They also look somewhat new but could be cheap parts so still failing? Also, I guess I should also be checking the wastegate actuator is that correct? As if that's not functioning properly it won't release pressure and therefore cause an overboost issue?

The solenoid I am referring to is the one with the brown plug underneath the intercooler pipe that connects to the wastegate actuator with a pipe.

I hope what i'm saying makes sense as I'm not mechanically very apt so it's my first time learning about this. Thanks
