Hope this is a simple one. I'm trying to change the mirror indicator on my 2011 Shogun. Mitsubishi wanted £170 for the indicator, whereas Autodoc wanted £100 for the whole mirror assembly, so I went with that. I will remove the indicator part from the new assembly, (it's the wrong colour so I can't just fit the whole thing) and pop it on the original housing. Now I was under the impression that you could pop off the cover of the mirror, and undo two screws to simply fit the new indicator. However taking out the new indicator from the new part, it seems it has a screw at the front too, which will require removing the mirror glass. I can see that it fits in upwards, but the old one will not come out, and I'd rather not break it.
Does anyone have any advice? Would be much appreciated! |
