|
|
Hi All,
Went out driving several months ago before we were locked in like animals, after driving through a few deep puddles in salisbury plain ( up to the windsreen ) Noticed the steering would pulse to the left, steering wheel would move about 2 inches left every few seconds.
it would happen when statonary and when moving. however after around 5 mins it would stop. assume something would dry off,
thought it was going mad, but standing outside the car and just watching the wheels move on their own is mad.
trying to work out why this would happen. fluid it at max, only does it after deep water.
unable to find leaks
2005 3.2 did
over to the smart people

Hi Blackchallis
just a thought remove the clips on the steering rack outer rubber boots and drain the water out, I found mine did the same thing but then the steering went hard and when you went around a corner it would stay there and not return unless you turned the steering wheel back hope this helps.... |
