Hi all,

I'm picking up a 1989 Exceed MK1 this week for a resto project but I'm already thinking down the line of changing the alloys,

From reading bit here I need 15x8 alloys, 6x139.7 stud pattern with 31x10.5 tyres.. sound right?

But what I'm stuck on is the off set, original 6j rims are ET22, what off set should I be looking for with the 15x8j,

Many thanks,
Rob.

I forgot to mention that I'm hoping to fit wheel arch trims so I want the wheels to fill out the gap..

Hi again,

I found a set of alloys online, from Greggson Off Road and they are 15" X 8 (6X139.7) ET-19

Would they fit with 31x10.5 tyres, it's the offset I worried about..

No I'm holding off for the minute, I've started stripping out the interior for the restoration, the chassis will be coming out for welding and a rebuild...

I do have my eyes on modular rims, 10j x 15 offset of -30

I think the current wheels are MK2, which should be 7j x 15 offset of 10,

Are you going for aftermarket rims?
