Anyone know where the air filter is for the interior recycling air air supply on the Mk 2 Pajero? I'm assuming that somewhere there is a filter that can be removed and cleaned or replaced. I thought it might be behind the glovebox but have checked. |

Surely there must be a filter somewhere for air blown into the vehicle? I'm not particularly concerned with pollen, but almost any vehicle I can think of has a filter for the heating/ventilation/air con? On the Mk 3 the filter is easily removable once you drop the glovebox, but on the Mk2 there is just a big lump of equipment and certainly no removable filter there.

The internal filter for all cars heating/cooling system is usually referred to as a "Pollen filter", just a generic name for an air filter.
I can assure you and after owning my Paj since it came from Japan in 2005 that there is no Air or Pollen filter in the Mk2's |
