Hei,

when I replaced brake discs and pads I noticed that the right rear wheel is moving a bit. The whole wheel, disc and shaft have play. The caliper frame and the rest sits tight. This also explains the grinding sound from the back. So I think the wheel hub needs replacement. The wheel moves quite notably about 2-3 mm when looking at the tire profile. The movement goes around the hub in all directions.

I would like to order a genuine hub assembly. Last time I ordered from Japan or UAE it took a month. I consider using a local available alternative instead.

Question How safe is it to drive like this? Can the wheel just fall off or so? We had plans to have a 1.000km trip this weekend.

In addition the caliper is leaking a bit. The seal is punctured. There is not much brake fluid coming out, but still it's wet. (I try to post pictures later). Can I just get a sealing kit to fix this? Or is it more sensible to buy a new one. The ABS bolt looks like it rather would snap off than be removed orderly. Given the hub is broken and all the bolts and mountings behind it are pretty rusted, should I replace more at the same time?

Thanks!
