I know 20" rims are a bit rubbish for any kind of off road, But I do quite like the look of them :-/

Has anyone tried a decent winter grippy tyre on these rims?

I quite liked the BFG Urban Terrain , hardly ever go off road, but go on grass with caravan. BFG don't really do the size i need. 265/50/r20

Any suggestions welcome.

I put radar renegade at-5’s on my 20” wheels and they’re a really good tyre. Slightly noisier than a full road tyre but not intrusive, especially as the engine is so loud anyway that you’d have to have the window open listening for them to notice.

On road they behave well, and with the slight bit of rough roads I’ve done they’ve been great. Not had a chance to try in snow but they are rated for it so should be fine.

Price wise they are a lot less that the bf Goodrich etc but can be difficult to find in stock, so you might need to search around a little.
