Speedometer show double speed and mileage

Hi all,

I recently become the owner of Pajero gen3 LWB 2002y 2.5d 85kw....

from the start, I have a problem with an inaccurate speedometer. Speed and driven mileage are shown double than in reality.
I checked the instrument cluster and tried another one so I can remove speedo from the list of suspects.

I located the speed sensor, checked the connector and wiring, and everything looks fine.

Speed sensor have on it PNo MR446406, but partslink says that speed sensor have PNo MR477827

can anyone help me with this? Is it possible that on the car is the wrong sensor?

Is your sensor and your speedometer original? or those have been replaced?
