2007 LWD. Vehicle only came with one key. I would feel more comfortable having a second key for a spare. Any one managed to get a spare/replacement key with push button functions from anywhere for a reasonable price.
Timpsons have said around £150, which I guess is a lot cheaper than a main dealer. |

https://www.car-keys-online.com/about-us.html can supply a genuine blank key for around £100, it will need cutting to match your other one or from the key number of your present key. The number is on a small metal tag with a letter followed by 4 numbers. The transponder will then need linking to the car, your local key specialist or a dealer can do this.
You could try your local dealer for a price as they outsource genuine replacement keys which come ready cut from a data base and will be more accurate than a copy of a worn key. |

That's expensive but whatever you do try and get a genuine key, they are in a different class to the cheap aftermarket ones. |

Just quoted me £132 if I go the their workshop or £160 if they come out to my home address.
That seems good to me as they are a reputable company if you check out their website. |
