Depends on the year and usage, early ones were 9000 miles/1 year, later ones were 12,500 miles/1 year.  Halve those figures for heavy duty use, either way it is all in the service book.

Mine is a 2007. I only do about 5000 miles per year and light use only.

Thank you for your reply.

Do it annually because it may become contaminated with diesel and you will notice the engine oil rising.

In Australia it's every 15000km which is about 9000 miles, or nine months. For heavy driving you're looking about half that.

Well Cam I would change it annually as low mileage causes many issues and long lay ups over winter mean moist air and water contamination and your engine needs to be at working temperature typically for 30-60 minutes to evaporate this water from the engine oil as it should do.

Typically it should use a full synthetic 5/30 oil to C1 specs as this is much lower SAPS and helps your DPF to stay working for longer before clogging.
