Hi,

This is my first post on this forum.

I've just bought a 54 plate 2.0 GDi Shogun Pinin 5 door. I was surprised to find that it had 18" wheels when I went to view the car, I think they may have been an optional extra on the Warrior spec cars as some tyre websites offer me 235/50/R18 as a tyre size from my reg number.

My question is - I would like a separate set of off road wheels and tyres. Most commonly I have found Shogun Pinins have 16" wheels fitted with 215/65/R16 tyres. I assume these 16" wheels will also fit on my 2.0 GDi 2004 car? I'd have thought they have the same hubs but just thought I'd ask before buying a set of 16" wheels.

Cheers

James

Pinin was available with 6Jx16 or 6.5x17 from the factory, both were ET46, 5x4.5" PCD, 2 5/8" centre bore. The 18" were most probably fitted in the UK.

Thank you very much for your reply. I'll get myself a set of 16s and some all terrain tyres
