SHOGUN SPORT 2.5TDI TIMING BELT just broke. What's the usual damage on these engines, bent valves? broken rockers etc? or worse?
First checks?

First thing to do is release the valves and turn the engine over by hand to see if it turns and if it does I would do a compression test to establish the extent of any issues and work from there and work out what is actually wrong and the cost of repairs.

Heard of broken rockers, bent valves,  i'd start by taking rocker cover off and doing a visual inspection.
