Hi people, i know i have been ranting over this before, now i am just getting fed up, as before the CV boots that i got from Milners, still in good condition, but they keep slipping off, i have had them cleaned and put back on, tried both types of metal bands one with perforations and one solid band, yet still it comes of the driveshaft. Please does anyone know where besides Mitsi (£200+) for CV boots, i can get ones that fit, or if anyone has bought there from Milner and are using something different. I was thinking of buying new driveshafts from Milner with the boots for £50 and get them installed, seems cheaper than going to Mitsi and paying their price for the boots. I have no other issues she runs smooth plenty of pickup. Got MOT in Jan so i would like to get it done before then. Any help would be Greatly appreciated, apologies rant over

Have you tried your local factors? I don't see why an ordinary motor factor can not supply. It doesn't have to be a 4X4 specialist.

Thanks for the read and reply gents, found another way to keep the cv boot in place, i have tied a cable tie on the small end of the cv boot, just after the clip, this will enable the boot not to move off the joint itself, looks like it is keeping true, has not moved off the joint so far, so i have kept the orange ones on and more than happy with the outcome, i did get new ones from Ebay that were guaranteed a fit, but they arrived and it was hard plastic, not move flexibility there at all, so sent them back, didn't want to take the risk and just crack, just used normal size ties.
