I’m thinking of buying a Shogun auto with the 3.2 did engine in.
It will be a project because it’s failed on MOT on welding around front and back inner arches
I’ll be using it  as an off-road vehicle for a shoot so was wondering what tyres will fit best ? I think I it’s got the original 18’’ alloys on so would like to keep them and put some all terrain tyres on.

Also what’s the main things to look out for on this model ? I’ve been reading a lot about timing chains, does the complete chain need replacing or just the top guide ?

What do people do when welding these up ? Can you buy panels or is it a cut out and patch job ?

ABS light is always on, is there a common fault on these ?  I’ve not looked at the truck yet but just thought I’d get a heads up before I buy ?
