Last night I needed to do an emergency dash to the nearest A&E hospital about 20 miles away. Ignored the usual voice greeting from the 3rd-party typre pressure monitor "Welcome, please drive safely...." and set off. Felt a dull thudding from rear-left wheel and thought "brake pads stiff due to all the mud" then registered the magic voice saying "rear left tyre pressure is too low", looked at the display and saw 0.4 bar. Eeeek!

Pull up, reverse back home.

Remove tyre pressure monitor from valve, engage air compressor, inflate to 2.0 bar.

Set off again!

As a matter of routine I put 1 litre of LinSeal (~ £12) in each tyre to guard against punctures and it paid off handsomely. In this case of course the puncture hadn't had chance to seal before the Shogun was left stationary for a couple of days with the puncture presumably near the top of the tyre and had been able to deflate.

Refill with air and then having the wheel rotating causes the LinSeal liquid to 'find' the leak and seal it.

This is the second time it has saved the day. It is mainly used in tractors and heavy off-road vehicles where it gets applied from 220 litre drums.
