i love when a plan comes together, when i get the time the intercooler is coming off so i can start to play with the pump.

Ok , turning the diaphragm gives more fuel flow as it turns the long stroke pin

turning the star wheel alters the pre load on the diaphragm , I e you decrease the preload and the extra fuel comes in with less boost, caution with the star wheel as too little pre load will make smoke, heat and bad mpg

start by turning the diaphragm 100 deg clockwise and see how it goes

Yeah, got it...  I totally understand now thanks again. Found some usefull diagrams of the BOSCH VE pump, thanks again for your input.

I'll post up after /when i do the adjustment
