We are looking for a back axle for a 1993 Vauxhall Fontera 2.3 TD. We have contacted all the scrap yards we can think of, but can't get one. Does anyone know who he can try, or know where there's one for sale? Thanks for any help! Lynn. |

Thanks Darren! He tried them but they want around £600 including carriage to the South West. Guess we live at the wrong end of the country! |

Yeah, I know the Montrey and Trouper are the same car but I thought the axle was the same on all three as they're all GM motors. The Frontera is badged as Isuzu abroad. |

Foxy is correct, in the states the frontera is known as an Isuzu Rodeo, but they usually have a rear locker as standard is this the case with the frontera.

Try www.my4x4.co.uk
They have forum which has a massive number of frontera owners. Should be able to give you a few hints.
When I had my frontera I got spares from a breakers called Douglas Valley. They tend to deal only in 4x4 and specialist motors.
