Crying or Very sad Help, I can't find anywhere on the net that explains tyre sizes correctly.

They all mention what eg 265/70/15 mean but some bf goodrich tyres are eg 31/10.5/15

How are these tyre sizes calculated?

Thanx Guys

Surley a tyre won't be 31inches wide that's nearly 3 ft but the eg 265 is the width in metric

The 31 is 31" diameter 10.5" wide. What else do you want to know.... Speed ratings? What the letters stand for? Not sure what you want that isn't explained in those websites Rolling Eyes
