Asked for some assistance on replacing front brake pipes but it seems no one has experienced the problem I had so thought that I would have a go at fixing it! Wink

Front lower flexible hose broke so I ordered replacement top and bottom hose from Millners (Great Company I might add) however the parts they sent were to large to go through the holes - checked with Millners and they assured me they are the correct ones. Went to Mitsubishi in Norwich and they ordered the parts and indeed when they arrived they were smaller and fitted a treat! Only 3£ more eacj I might add! Very Happy

During the replacement the lower rigid pipe going into the cylinder was seized solid so I also had to have one made up. (Mitsi wanted 6£ for this little *beep* and a ten day delivery, the local Wilco parts store made one up for me for 1.50 in two minutes.)

Advise to you all - clean and spray with WD40 prior to replacing these bits as the nuts on the rigid pipes are sure to be solid and you may be better off ordering the rigid pipes at the same time. Wink

The bleed nipple will also be seized so what I did was to free it first with a socket and then bled the brakes - best to replace this as well Wink

If anyone wants further advice on this then drop me a line. Laughing
