When my petrol frontera died i knew a few things, I wanted another 4x4, it had to be diesel and it had to have a timing chain not a belt and it had to be fairly cheap and absolutely reliable.
Spent many many hours on parkers reading write ups before hitting google for 4x4 sites and reading various owners club forums (this one included) and eventually decided I wanted either a Toyota Surf or a Paj (thanks primarily to this forum).
Working at Toyota Ive driven more than my share of Hilux's so I knew they were a teeny bit cramped for a bloke my size so i hit ebay looking for a top spec Surf (nothing less would do) and there were none, so I won the first paj i bid on, was more than happy with its condition (even a shiny would have been happy with it) .
Its been 3 months and reliability hasn't been an issue, its a damn good 4x4 and its diesel with a timing chain. It only falls short on the fairly cheap specification, the rate im putting miles on it its going to need a service every 4 months and with my diesel costs I can look forward to many calls from the bank moaning about being overdrawn.... but f#@k em Ive got a permanent smile and met loads of new people at the meets 8) 8) 8) |

I assume your talking about the mag nick, it was the one that gave the club all that publicity a short while back, the one that made certain members famous just a thought but you might be talking about the advert so to kill 2 birds etc, it was a half page advert with if I remember a wheel cover disc with pocuk written around the outer edge, sorry I can't be more helpful, only recycled it last week too

cheers mate, best thing I ever did, met a few top lads too, nothing appears to be too much trouble, learnt a lot about the paj from reading the threads and finding my way around the forums, some of which are very entertaining

met Ritchie and Pete 'playdoh', top lads who have helped me get to grips with the problems we as paj owners encounter from time to time, not only saving me a few bob but more importantly making new friends.
and your absolutely right Dale and long may pocuk reign |
