Hi all,

Need to get a 4x4 for the mrs to get around farms in - we saw the Shogun and both like it way more than anything else we've seen so far.

Took a test drive in an old Pinin the other week - the boot was just a little small and that one had a few issues. Had a drive of an '07 Shogun SWB 3.2DiD earlier on with ~95k on the clock - planning on having a look at some others before comitting to anything.

Wondering what the best plan is, get a cheaper '03 v6 3.5 with 120k on the clock, a more expensive 3.2DiD Elegance with 178k on the clock or the same priced 3.2 Equippe with ~95k on the clock (all autos).

Whilst the v6 is thirstier, it's half the price of the others initially - plus tax is £200 cheaper, so the extra fuel costs don't really matter (not that we're striving for mpg!)

I've had a browse around the forum/searched around but there isn't a clear answer to this sort of question. The Equippe basically has no features on it, not that we're after anything too fancy, but heated seats would definitely be welcome!

I've seen a lot for sale high into the 100k range which does boost confidence in their durability, but wondering what peoples opinions of a higher milage 3.2 and if 120k is a lot for the v6?

Thanks!
