I use traffic film remover mixed with really hot water.
Do not soak roof cloth too much as it will leave white mark I usually ring out the cloth for this.
Nail brush good for heavily soiled vinyl.
Dry off vinyl with clean towel and treat with vinyl protector that dry's making it easier to keep clean.

Wear rubber gloves as TFR not nice to skin.
