Is it better to remove anti roll bars for off roading?
I sure with my old Patrol you could disengage stabilizers.

In theory yes as the bars impede articulation which means the wheels leave the ground easier thus less traction. If you have locking diffs or traction control then this reduces the articulation issues.

Not sure how this would affect the Pajero on-road, or what your MoT man would think of it (some will pass it, some will not). On the Nivas it's standard to remove the anti-roll bar, but the Paj's a lot heavier and taller, so rolls a lot more!
Regards,
