It's due to the fact that you have PC Plod as an avatar (nothing goes right when the Plods are involved) well that's my theory anyway.

I think it might be what Simon (Pocuk) referred to on another post..........to stop somebody flooding the forums with the same message post over and over, there is a time delay between you posting a message and then posting again, so if you hit the submit button to add your post to the forum and somehow got the error message, trying to submit the post again shortly after, and again and again, you would just keep getting the error message................could be wrong but can't think of any other reason. |

Thanks Philco, I think I understand your explanation but I don't think it's that. I've just posted one on the for sale forum with no probs but now I can't send a reply to someones topic on the wanted! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! SO FRUSTRATING

Hi Clive ...
this is a new one for me ... as Phil said, there is a 30 second gap required between postings, but I don't recall 'invalid session' being the error which occurs when this happens.
I would try logging off, then in <tools>/<internet options> do a bit of tidying up, (delete cookies, delete offline files content, clear history), then login again and retry.
Sorry I can't help more at this time.
Simon. |

I don't think the problem is with sending many posts, flooding etc. I have seen "Invalid Session" a few times... mostly after I had spent time writing a post and wanting to review it or post it... I had to RETYPE the bl@@dy post again as it got lost several times... My solution now is to copy & paste my post into a temp. file BEFORE reviewing or posting, so as I don't retype again if I get an "Invalid Session"!!
The invalid session message is nothing to do with the PoCUK site (I believe)... it is more to do with the your (or my) ISP [Internet Service Provider] network traffic, time outs and so on |
