Not sure about best performance - at the end of the day all rigs are legally limited to 4w output.
In terms of easiest/neatest fitting, have a look at the Cobra 75 ST. All the controls are built into the Mic, leaving just a small connection box to mount out of sight under the dash.

best twigs are sireo 4000 highpower or wilson highpower
but their not cheap i've got the sireo 4000 £55 with mag
mount the wilson ia a bit dearer. |

I use a stinger £15 and wilson 1000 £50 Not a great deal between the two regarding performance, just make sure its tuned right. |

yes i've got one their the dogs b@ll@cks but remember
they'vegot frequency readout as well as channels when
your on fm the channel is not what it says we run on
channel 37 but it says 9 so i just use the frequency
read out much easyier.
dont get one of the earlier models if you use a high
powered twig it wont work too well i swapped mine
for the new model much better. |
