need some help
ive got hold of a realistic 2005 cb very cheap and nead sone help to wire it up
it has got 3 wires on the back red black and white
i know wot the red and black ones are but wots the white one????
also when i put a 12v power plug on the end i get no power at the unit i know it works if i do a direct feed from the battery so does anyone know why it wont work through a aux power scoket under the radio

no idea on the white wire but have you checked you have power at the socket.

You did turn the ignition on didn't ya ??

Is the 'male' part penetrating into the 'female' part enough ?? Shocked

ie, is the plug connection reaching the socket connection ?

It has to be summat daft like that if you can wire it direct and it works

You may find that the white wire is for the internal lighting to come on with the dashlights.

yeah checked all that i know there was power in the lead as to check it i wired in a 12v buzzer and it worked
white wire might be for the lights
trying to find a instruction manual on line
