OK,
I'll kick this one off ....
We bought our PJ from Southern Motors early 2001, It's a really clean '91 Mk2 2.5 tdi lwb.
Especially good news is that I'm told they use SVS servicing, (who I can't rate highly enough!), for all of their technical work.
I understand that their cars are sourced directly from an importer and do not come through the auctions, giving them improved quality control over the vehicles they sell.

I bought my first Pajero from Southern Motors in August 04' LWB 2.5 TDI. It was basicaly a good sound clean vehicle in very nice condition as a first uk registered J plate. I had a few probs..needed some bits...but to be fair these vehicles are in transit for a long period & bits become needed. I am due the first service in January 05 & i am confident my niggles will be sorted. I found Nigel eager to please & if all goes well i will use Southern Motors to upgrade in the near future.
I wish Nigel & partner continued sucess in their business |

I have just had the first 6 month service on my Pajero from Southern Motors. I was impressed with the efficiency & cost of this service. Nigel even gave me a very nice courtesy car at no extra cost. I look forward to Southern Motors doing my next MOT & service in 6 months time. Thankyou Nigel & well done |

Just bought my 28 Exceed from Souther Motors.
Alvin there is a true gent, helped me and the mrs out no end, even swapped a bullbar from one motor to mine because we liked it better.
The car is very clean and drives very well, it was in tip top shape when we picked it up and apart from a small hicup with an MOT form everything was plain sailing. I would highly recomend Alvin and Southern Motors.
Also Alvin pointed out Tett Hamilton Insurance to me, I phoned them up and 7 others including the 'Club' insurance, Tett Hamilton came out well on top for price and service. Thanks Southern Motors. |

As a foot note to my last post about Alvin and Southern Motors.
They swapped a bull bar for us, however, after driving with it on we called Alvin and said we were not happy with it and could we go back to the original bull bar, not only did he agree but he has also loaned me a veh while he is swapping the bull bars over yet again.
What service...thanks again Southern Motors. |

Got my 2.5 SWB in March last Year. Quite happy with it.
However just went for it's first MOT not done by them. Failed on what I expected Windsereen (chip in A zone) and shocks (lots of off roading!). I didn't expect it to fail on the spacing of the number plate!!! Surley there must be a template to use??
Well I'm now £25 lighter after getting 2 new number plates!!
Thanks |

I bought my LWB 94 Pajero from Southern Motors about a month ago.
On Monday the Alternator failed but managed to get it back home, rang SM and they said they would come out and start the car for me the next morning in order to get it to their workshop, which they did.
Alternator replaced, no questions asked.
I cannot fault the buying experience or the back up I have had form Southern Motors.
Well done guys |
