Central Sussex

MoVac in Chailey (mobile service) converted the Paj to R134a for £89 inc vat. Pete (the operator) states that if he doesn't pick up a leak at the time and it leaks a few weeks later he will sort it free of charge. This sounds suspiciously like someone offering that old fashioned thing called "service"

Pete's contact details are here: http://www.mobilevehicleairconditioning.co.uk/contacts.html

Update: Also had another car regassed (£60). Pete knows his stuff and is not a stranger to Pajs. Nice chap too.

If you have the old style screw on pressure filling points on your pump, you can buy the adapters from a chap on ebay for 5.44 inc postage, dont be ripped off by your local garage either, you can have your aircon re-gassed using the low pressure valve only, i was quoted £140 for the kit + re-gas but when i got to the station they had a look and said that one valve had been replaced (the low pressure one) and said it may work filling the system on that valve only, guess what an hour later, system purged checked for leaks oiled and re-gassed i drove away with an icy cold paj for £50 inc vat. So i just ordered a valve for the Mrs LWB exceed, and will fit it myself, then take it for a fill up. You dont need the kit, look for " car air conditioning supplies " on ebay.

Oh yeah the garage was A & A in Dewsbury West Yorkshire tel 01924 466664.
I will let you know how it goes with the LWB Diy conversion.

NORWICH Norfolk.

Kwik-Fit on Dereham Road.

I've had my Pajero since April, and don't know when the air con was last working.
The whole system was dead and completely empty of gas.
I feared that it would be beyond repair without spending loads on it.
But today I decided to give it one chance, and took it to Kwik-Fit.
The guys there did a proper job, pressure test, lubricant and gas, all for a fixed price of £44.95.
My air con now works brilliant. Seems like a fair price to me.
