check the level of brake fluid in the reservoir - top up if needed. Also, it is a common issue that the soft rubbery membrane on the reservoir cap degrades and goes floppy - needs replacing.
Fill the rad until you can see water, and make sure that the drain off pipe into the reservoir is clear of any debris
hope this helps

The Min Max coolant levels are on the side of the coolant reservoir. So fill the rad to the top and fit the cap. Fill the reservoir to the max level.
Keep an eye on this level, it will drop in the first few days of use and will need topping up. |

another question if yous dont mind... new owner lots of questions...
the shogun failed on front flexy brake hoses... the mot didnt go into details, when i phoned the motor factor he said its strange, the shogun has two on either front/side
the mot tester is mostly likly to be talking about the ones on caliper side right? |

I found with mine the rubber insert in cap blew out if you know what I mean, so it pushed on the float, I just reset it inside the cap and was fine. |
