Central Locking & Alarm

On my spacegear I have an Autowatch Alarm imobiliser.just recently I have discovered that it is not locking the sliding door & passenger doors.
I have tried cleaning the contacts on the slider but this has not solved it.
The contacts on the door pillar seem to live with or without the Ignition on,as i found out trying a quick rub with wire wool.(sparky sparky)
Does anyone one have a solution or share this prob.

If you lock the driver door with the key, do the other doors lock?

If they don't lock, it may be that the microswitch in the drivers doorlock is not working.
