Does anyone out there know where you can purchase a good heat exchanger for use with bio diesel? Alternatively, is there a good web link with details of how to make your own heat exchanger (NOT WEBSITES FOR MAKING BIO DIESEL PLEASE - I'VE READ ALL THOSE!)
Thanks folks in anticipation of your help! |

you dont need a heat exchanger for bio-diesel, its viscosity is the same as derv(diesel), you only need the heat exchanger for straight vegetable oil as the viscosity needs to be lowered. the best and cheapest you can get is a heated fuel filter unit from a peugeot or renault diesel. get it from a scrap yard and plumb it into your heater hose, thats whats on mine and works a treat. |
