cheers fitzy, i never thought of costco, i tried macro but work out about 65p a litre so i didn't bother.

yep worlwide foods rochdale 7.50 for a 20 l drum about 26p a litre try your local aisian cash and carry!

Tried our local Netto today, management said price you quote at 32p must be a special, normal is 43p and Asda is 43p also.

Hello everyone am i seeing what i'am reading if that makes any sence, Mitsi Owners running on Veg Oil ?
Does this do the Engine any good, i must admit i have cosidered using Central Heating Oil as a subsitute to the rising cost of Deisel but thats the first time i've heard of chip oil,can you still get a fine if pulled by the Ministry?

Hi Kevin,
As yet nobody seems to have experienced engine problems. As for being fined, YES, if you haven't been paying tax on it, but that applies to central heating oil aswell.

I TAKE IT THAT THE OIL YOUR USEING IS LOW COST COOKING OIL!(FRYING OIL)(CHIP OIL)..... AND IT DOESNT DO ANY DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE?..... HAS ANYONE FOUND ANY INFORMATION OF ANY DAMAGE BEING DONE TO AN ENGINE?.... AND IS IT SAFE TO USE.....PLEASE TELL

been using 50/50 mix now of vegi oil here for cpl of months now , had no problems , and havent seen anything on problems yet Very Happy
