turbo timer (how do I fit it?)

ok so ive bought a t/t off that site http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7998005370&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 hope that works but how do i fit it i thought it would just clip in oh and it states the t/t is for a 2.5 and mines a 2.8 Embarassed so maybe the plugs are different any help advice would be more than helpful

does not matter that it says 2.5 it will fit your 2.8.
How to fit it. Pretty simple.
The lower cowling underneath your steering wheel is held on by 4-5 screws, undo them and let it dangle about as the choke cable will stop you from completely removing it out of the way but it does not matter.
you will see towards the lower part of your steering coluum 3-4 block connectors , the one you want is black and blue in colour exactly like the one on the end of your t/timer, and has some grey foam type material around it.

Once you have found that all you have to do is pull it apart and then plug one side of your t/timer in one end and the other side of it in the other end, simple.

Then your black wire has to be earthed. Which can be earthed by the speaker just to the right of where your choke is undo bottom left screw wrap wire round tighten back up and its earthed.

prob sounds complicated but it is really easy 10 mins max
