My central heating runs on gas - I don't think it'd stay in the tank very well. Very Happy

you can run it on heating fuel if you like (kerosine) but there is a recipe available on that site which is 25 ltrs of heating fuel add one litre of Duckhams Hypergrade diesel engine oil and 25ml of cellulose thinners, all mixed up together should work a treat, some people say that taxi drivers have been doing this for years

It always used to be add 10% Hydraulic oil (the really thin stuff can't rmember the grade) or 10% of the cheapest 20/50 oils, the stuff you buy for £2.99 a gallon.

Kerosene hasn't got all the lubrication properties of diesel and just needs a little help.

So you could probably mix it 50/50 with veg oil and it would be better than mixing veg with diesel.
