ok ive been looking at kurust , etc etc , galvafroid and many other products to PRESERVE and PROTECT metal. someone on the forum mentioned Teamac paint, now thats a marine product so it should be good, anyone else used it ? however there are those who mix new oil and diesel and then apply to the frame. any feedback / comments appreciated . gotta keep the rust at bay here.
short of doing a frame off resto this is the next best thing, because unlike landrover frames / chassis no ones making em any more !!!.
which is sad , how many japanese 4wd vehicles have been sent to that resting place just because of a chassis / frame failure somewhere whilst the panels and interior, running gear etc are perfect hmmm |
