:)Nice campsite near coleford is christchurch camsite or bracelands, there right next to each other. they are right on the edge of the forest and the river wye near symons yat.
great views over the yat rock. |

We are off to Whitemeads in the Forrest of Dean this weekend. Its a CSMA site but also available to the public.
Looks good, it has indoor pool, sauna, gym Indoor kids play, bar, entertainment ect.
Anyone been there????

:DYes, i live 5 mins drive from there.
im a member of the club there. it is very nice in the summer but a bit wet at the moment.plenty to do there all year round. very good pool and gym. gets a bit packed at the weekends but ok. good entertaianment on in the large bar at weekends also the food is nice too.
plenty of walks in the nearby woods.
It also as very nice log cabins overlooking a little pond. |

i think it will be a wet weekend at whitemead this weekend but dont let that put you off, its a very nice place to visit. |

if you are interested, there is an off road centre in clearwell only 10 mins from whitemead.
it a good place for an hour or so of, off roading if you like getting muddy. |
