had mine changed today and a steering suspension check(cost £40) seems i now need opposite arm (idler) and both anti rollbar links then a steering box adjustment...ho hum.... parts ordered seems i am in for a busy weekend

I entered my details on the Mitsubishi website but doesn't ask any details about the vehicle, do they make contact with me asking all the details or have I missed something... it happens Wink

after reading all posts on pitmanarm recalls. i used the link to contact mitsi motors, they said they would contact the factory in japan.
after 3 days i got a reply to say yes the pitmanarm needed doing take to dealers.
went into gallaghers of warrington yesterday armed with copy of email i received, they checked and said yes it needs doing, have some free coffee and we will do it now while you wait if thats  ok.
they did warn me that the steering wheel may not be straight as this could be result in having car tracked up in the past.
job done in 1 hour steering wheel perfect and full of free coffee excellent service well pleased.

Emailed on Monday.
Auto response on Tuesday.
Email saying they will contact Japan on Wednesday.
Week 2.
Email saying it needs doing on Monday.
Rang main dealer on Tuesday.
Pitman arm replaced by 1230pm Wednesday.

Start to finish 10 days.

Now just got to work out what the pitman arm is and what it does??? Question  scratch  Question

I sent an e-mail to link on 10 Oct got a reply 11 Oct saying they will contact Japan. As of yet no more replies 16 days & counting. Crying or Very sad  Crying or Very sad

Hi everyone, rookie to this site but have had 2 pajeros before. Just put in for recall details this morning, live on the isle of wight, so may take some time for the dealer to fit me in if i need recall, any other iow ers had experience with island dealers ?.
