I also got the feeling that they didn't really want my old truck in their nice clean workshop.

My truck also seemed to be older than most of the "technicians" there !

I think it depends on the dealer - but the one in Derby would rather just sell new cars.

When I went back with the wheel nut I asked if they had used a rattle gun - they said "we never use them - always use a torque wrench" - but there were two rattle guns on the workshop floor !

I've not been back there since - but then again, I can't afford the prices they charge!!

After reading the thread regarding the trouble some people have had with finding out if there motor has had the piman arm done or not , if you go to :

Mitsubishi Motors Online Enquiries <-- Click to link

and fill out the form saying that you are having trouble finding out if the pitman arm needs doing, you should receive an email the next day from Emma Bacon who will gladly find out for you. Very helpfull indeed.

The link is currently not working.

Just emailed my form thru. Got a reply within 5 mins stating 'As of 25/04/2016, the vehicle whose details were provided, is not subject to any recalls'. Bit disappointed really.  Sad

They didn't give me a courtesy car at Derby  Sad

I had to walk 3 miles home - then 3 miles back to collect it.

Neither did mine Pete. Although the time it would have taken me to drive home and back it was finished so I just waited at the dealer for it  Laughing
