Why Does my Pajero have two batteries ?

i have converted a fair few to a single battery and never had a problem


they start in -12 with 1 battery quite happily.....

If I had your knowledge (I might in 100 years time  Laughing ) I would convert mine to a single battery too.

If I had your knowledge (I might in 100 years time  Laughing ) I would convert mine to a single battery too.


takes 10 mins walt...


remove the rear battery and tray,   follow the positive from the old rear battery down to the starter, undo the bolt holding the rear positive one the starter and remove the cable,   refit the bolt to hold the wire on to the front battery and off your go....

That's the beauty of this forum, solutions to any given challenges.  Wink  

I remember reading a thread that the mechanics couldn't diagnose it, the mitzu wouldn't touch it cause it was an imported vehicle and over here, in this very forum, not only the fault was diagnosed but also a solution was found.   Cool

If it wasn't for this forum, I would have sold my truck many months ago... (I'm in no way a mechanic, (I wish I was   Sad  ) a DIY novice!)
