My sensor has been broken by the "knee swipe" so I need to replace it. Does the sensor just supply information to the temp gauge or does it supply any info to the climate control system. As since its been broken I've been having problems with the aircon not blowing cold enough( It is topped up with gas and the compressor is working-I think.. its going to garage in a couple of weeks when the expert on old aircon comes back from hols) If anyone has any ideas be glad of any help ta |

I don't know myself Steve if it is linked to the aircon as I don't have that myself (too cold in Scotland anyway!) but in non aircon trucks the sensor just shows the Indoor temp I would think it might be the same in yours (but I don't know and I also would be Interested in the answer to that myself) ) no doubt others here with aircon will update you with more info soon.

Don't know how much it is new, but you'll get one from most scrappies for a couple of quid.
Is the one on ebay new? |
