With only one week to go till mega meet i think it time we had a re-cap on what is happening and what people are bringing so we all ready what we need to take.......

stoney = football goal. ( any body else have 1?)

spongo = 2 or 3 radio controll cars. ( any 1 else taking some?)

mrs grumpy = bringing bat and stumps

brownie = somerset cider. ( have YOU ordered yours?)

bluebird1927 = BIG roll of paper

every one = pens, pencils, crayons, paint,brushes ect ect for the kids to draw with on the big roll of paper

bluebird1927 = volleyball net

bullet = volley balls.

UKrabbiter = bringing rounders equipment

Uncle Foxy = heavy duty set off ramps.

various people who have offered tool kits and knowledge to help you with fitting/mending bits for your pajero.

and if you have some things you need doing dont forget to bring them (and beer!!!) and see what can happen.



and here are some more activities that might happen.....

Trip to the seaside = buckets spades and cossies!!!!!

Brownies `WINDOW HANGER` competition = get designing now

Raffle = if every one bring a prize there will be plenty to win...

tug of War competition - People, not cars ! ( rope needed)

mass visit to Cattlecountry kids adventure park

Kids painting competition - decorate the walls of the marquee

On-site kids treasure hunt (belated easter egg hunt ?)

Craft corner - paint your own mug, (minimal cost to cover materials)
Face Painting

driving challenges/competitions (cones needed)

UPDATES

Bring fancy dress clothes for saturday night social.

Tony will be doing a "rainex" demo for those that have not seen or used it before, he has nothing to do with the company, he has just been a user for years and think its good stuff, so people can get a look and try without somebody trying to make them buy!!

moonstone = bringing tow ropes/ramps/tools and abit of knowledge

nev = 2 remote controlled cars (ford focus & a mini) and a rubgy ball

midnight buffalo =bringing a long thick rope,gazzebo,paper plates plastic
knife & forks, a prize for the raffle, food trays & table cloths bbq & coal .

Tiger = bringing cricket bat and stumps - kids size and grown up

tippy = bringing bag of charcoal and couple of footballs (sorry no goal)

Did I hear someone mention that Saturday night was a 'If ya fancy it...dress up in fancy dress' night???

Im sure I've seen it mentioned somewhere but cant find it now???

And now for the epuipment and offers check list.....( ok i forgot this lot!!!!)

Daisy = Cobb grill, smallish twin sided BBQ, single ring gas stove thing, folding gazebo, chairs, a couple of large serving bowls ect ect. 'roving gypsy violinist' for an hour or so while we eat on Saturday?

UkRabbiter = a selection of wild game for the BBQ (rabbit, squirrel, duck, guinea fowl, etc.)
- A large paste table (not the hardboard type that self destructs after its 1st carboot) Laughing
- DVDs of green laning and mud play action from previous meets

Redjam = pop up gazebo
mr grumpy = washing up!!!!
tutor52 = plastic table and DISCO
barriesheene = 4x3m tent thingy
offroaddriver = cones for driving...
the list goes on.... and you know what you have offered so DONT forget!!

Basically bring tables, chairs gazebo`s,extension leads, heaters (gas or leccy) washing up liquid, bowls, t-towels and any thing that will help with the weekend that`ll make it run great for us all.........

What a great idea forgot about the radio control cars Embarassed will go and see if I can get them sorted for the meet.

Unfortuneatly the petrol ones take a huge beating every time I go out with them Twisted Evil but will do me best to have them there, and of course the two gazebos as well.

Looks like it will be a bit of a laugh cant wait
