jujuhound,
what is the ride like with low profile tyres, i ask as the Evo isn't the softest of rides with its suspension and low profiles have less 'give' than the standard tyres? |

Didnt really notice much difference to be honest, the ride seemed fine, they did have trouble balancing them because of the size, tried 3 times to get it right, and three different places, would not go any bigger than 20 inch though as I think the profile may be a problem at 22" we have 20" in our X5 too and they are also fine on that, it didnt seem to firm the ride up anymore than it already was. |

|
|
Hello all,
sorry I don't get on here more often...#
Just a note to anyone who is thinking of bigger wheels on there evo !
I was lucky enough to buy my pajero evo with the original wheels and a set of 5 spoke 20" wheels with kumo tyres fitted and I think thats one of the reasons I bought it !
the handling is far far better with the 20 's and it can really be pushed thro corners, I then got some mud terrain tyres for the 16 " wheels and now have the best of both worlds !
Swopping them, I can do all 4 in 20 minutes thanks to a big trolley jack and my snap on impact gun ! |
