Yes he is a top man.
I lost my windscreen washer jets at Longleat. Well the monkies ate them !!!
He replaced them free of charge as I also picked up some other parts I spotted whilst having a rumage around the lockup !!!
I put him in touch with my mechanic and they are now both happy !!

My baby died last sept. was told bottom end had gone and was quoted 1200 for a recon (or conned) engine.
got the number off here called him and was quoted alot less....told him to go ahead, and he found out it was not the bottom but the top end, and would cost alot less to fix.
7 days later 1 paj, and a full mot later ....1 very happy puppy.
he could have charged me the original price and just done the cheap repair option, (i would have been none the wiser) but he told me the full story and charged me less........good quality work , well done quickly, would definately recommend him for any work needed....
well done fil!
HAPPY PUPPY NOW |

As I live in Bournemouth which is not too far from Fils Pajero Parts, I thought I would check out their website.
Quite an established list of parts both for the 2.5 and 2.8 MkII Pajeros and Shogun.
Regards, Chris

Got to say I am having major grief with Fils Pajero parts.
Paid over £1000 for a 2.8 engine and rad for an auto. When it arrived the pallet had collapsed and the rad was damaged.
Contacted Phil and Tom said he was on holiday and would deal with it on his return.
Then I find out he has supplied a manual engine and rad. Was promised 3 weeks ago the correct rad and bracket from pump would be sent.
Have now been rining daily for the last two weeks and am now being told Phils not here at the moment. I've left a note but cant say when he'll call you back!
Not good customer service when I've paid for the items. Car has now been sat over 5 weeks awaiting these parts!
Here's a copy email I sent today

Phil
I have been ringing daily for an update on the radiator and bracket you told me you had posted by parcelforce on11/7/08 and 04/07/08.
To date nothing has been received and no return phone call from you to advise where this radiator is.
It is now over four weeks since you delivered the 2.8 engine and damaged radiator to me, which was for a manual car and not automatic as I requested. The delivery note was signed unchecked as pallet had collapsed and your staff advised due to you being on holiday in Turkey when it finally arrived.
Will you please let me know when I can expect to receive these replacement items or would you prefer I drive from Dover on Tuesday to collect?
I think you will agree I have been extremely patient in this matter and I now to get this vehicle finished as it is costing me £20 / week storage whilst waiting for these replacement parts.
The courtesy of a phone call or email would be appreciated
Regards
Ray

If anyone is in the locality I would appreciate some assistance. It's over 150 miles each way for me but the guy simply isn't intrested in sorting the problem (or so it seems) |

Tried yet again to get an answer.
Tom answered. Said Phil not there and he's left notes everywhere.
No choice now but to put to my solicitor. |

Hi Simon,
It appears I must have been the odd one out. I paid Over £1000 for a turnkey engine solution with rad etc that wasn't that!
I'll just put it down to experience and will purchase my bits elsewhere
The engine now has a problematic injection pump. I've bought one elsewhere and will find someone local to fit for me.
I'm glad to read others are not having the same problems I had / am having
So best I sit in the corner and keep quiet I think |
