I received my silver dials today.. gonna have a go at fitting them in a while.  They came with instructions but no instructions for how to change the gear shift part.  Can anyone tell me how to get into it? I dont wanna force it and break it and I dont have a manual yet...
Any advice greatly appreciated  Razz

Peeps, Anybody know where to find white or silver dials for the MKII 1997 and later models? I mean the MKIII lookalikes, GDI in this case. The early models.
They are distinctive different from the older models.

Hi, sorry, i only just found this post, cos it got another reply  Embarassed

The dials themselves are marked for MPH, so no conversion was needed

I run on 31/10.50/15 and they match the satnav upto 65mph
after that they are out

70 on speedo = 68 on satnav
80 on speedo = 75 on satnav
90 on speedo = 83 on satnav
100 on speedo = 91 on satnav
but I didn't compare the speedo when the satnav read 106

My speedo has had the k blanked of the kph for the trip meter so it looks like it has been converted at some stage and not just had new dials added. So the trip meter actualy shows miles now along with the odometer.

So would the dial kits from the club shop still fit?

Nick

It states that they won't fit recalibrated systems which I think mine is?
