Hi dulux likewise if you need any help pm me. Have you managed to get in touch with a club?

Let me know and I if havnt am sure I will get an introduction or log on to the  the RSGB site they have a list of Radio clubs in your area.

The M3 is fairly straight forward its mainly common sense.

Hope all goes well with your ops Eriba

Just spent most of Sat trying to hard mount a 5/8 2m mobile whip on to the body of my new Pajero.
Man they don't make things simple any more. Didn't know most of the vehicle is  double skinned & the whole roof is covered on the inside with a stick messy sounproofing  fibre which has to be scraped away to get a good metal ground.
Eventually succeeded after having to unscrew all the plastic boot stuff away  & fish the co-ax thru the tops of the window ledges.

Never again!

A belated Happy New year to all from a  snow covered Belfast on 4 Jan.  Worst snowfall in a long time especially as I live about 200m up & couldn't get wife's  merc even car out of drive.  Shogun was no problem!
