Quick question as I know this is covered in the searches somewhere but can anyone tell me if the General AT2s are any good on/off road? |

I'm great thanks Nick.... or I was after a month in Cyprus when David & I got engaged, he's going to attempt to make an honest woman of me !!!
Now having to deal with expense of new tyres, would love the BFGs but at £30 a corner more than the General AT2s not sure I can justify the expense with brakes needing attention too, you know how it is!
How's life treating you these days? |

I've just paid £92 a corner for BFG's in 31x10.5R15 just as a comparision, I don't know how much the General ones are.

Get Falken A/T's on it! Half the price of BFG's and a near identical tyre in tread and in quality. |

i own a 95 mk2 pajero jtop which had the 18" wheels and i would like to go off road but off road tyers in 18" are very expensive, so would i be able to get 15" alloys and tyres on instead.
i've been told the jtop had bigger calipers and 15" alloys may not fit |

Who was your supplier Andrew? I've not been able to find BFGs under £115 each! |

I can't help you on that but if you start a thread about that in the forum I'm sure someone will advise you. |

Thanks but I've tried everywhere (even falkentyres.co.uk) they don't have my size 265/70/16, haven't a clue why! |

Helen
I think the fuel to get there might wipe out any savings but you can have the details anyway
A & M Tyre Specialists
Lichfield St
Pemberton
Wigan

I got 4 tyres and the most up to date laser wheel alignment / tracking there is anywhere round here. Tyres £315.60 + VAT and £30 + VAT for the tracking, total £406.08.
Nobody else round here could get close to the price either.

Had 5 General Grabber AT2's fitted couple of mths ago paid 420 fitted for the lot good price and made up with the tyre, have been told they are similar tread pattern to the BFG's. Not too far from you so let me know if you want to know where |

i have general xp 200 and they are fine - at the end of the day unless you are in extreme muddy conditions - its pretty much down the ability of the right foot.
oh yeah this is IN MY OPINION! |
