slightly? i,m getting a dull clunk from the n/s rear. it,s either the door

Good question, which raises an issue NEVER discussed on this forum (I think Smile )... One mate of mine, suggested that rear door alignment on Pajeros needs to be checked and adjusted yearly Idea ... reason is the heavy weight of the spare wheel! Any thought?

Sounds perfectly feasable to me
Alot of other 4x4's have a split rear door so less leverage on a door hinge with a heavy spare wheel mounted up there.

Must check mine this weekend !

drill a wee hole in the hinge and put a grease nipple in it and grease it when doing the rest of the car.
should keep it working for many an opening.
