I was scepticle, but after reading loads of threads saying its the bees knees, I parted with the cash for the flush and oil booster.
I was eating my words as the engine now runs very quiet and smooth. (137000km).
A few months later I used the fuel treatment and just after when I changed the filter, it was full of gunk that the protec had shifted in the lines.
Gota say, it is a tad more expensive than most products but it is the dogs danglies. |

just to let you know it passed
1.07 emmisions (average)
no smoke
full service including greasing, brake check, everything that should be done
£196-00 it may be a bit costly but i have used the same garage for
20 years no problems never had to go back to them with any problems
the garage is mainly an automatic specialist

hmmmm.....i may be talked into gettin some oil booster, just coz it sounds good
but, it says "It is ideally suitable for manual gearboxes and differentials." can someone explain that bit ?, i got a auto box, but what does that have to do with the engine oil....or can you use it in man box too ??

hi scotsbob
i've never used oil booster just engine flush every service
service every six months engine will last for ever
even change all filters even iff they don't need changing
i know it is expensive but when you are driving the best 4x4
only the best will do

Scotsbob,
You can put the oil booster into the gearbox and front diff oils aswell to prolong the oil and coat all the parts!
If your thinking of buying, I would flush the engine out first before the booster as it shifts loads of crud.
I recall Ivor stating that it will only shift what its meant to in an old engine and not clean everything out like some flushes that expose weakened seals!
P.S. i dont think you can put booster into dextron oil in an autobox. |
